Because the first attempt failed I started a second version. Here is a drawing of how I want to make it:

CNC drill/mill machine V2 – Electronics Part – Update
I’m going to drive the steppers with a chopper steering. I’m going to build my design around the L297 and L298 ic’s. The parts I’m going to recycle from the driverpcb’s I got from Rik (See the picture bellow). The reason I don’t use these pcb’s like this is because if I connect a stepper motor then it already starts to turn without a signal. And the input signals are not universal.

CNC drill/mill machine V2 – Mechanical Part – Update
I have had a bearing holder for my Z-axis made (I cant drill such large holes here at home):
Thanks Jaak!
I went to a metal store to buy a piece of aluminum bar (30*10*2000mm). I used this bar to attach the Z-axis to the X-axis. Therefore I also gotten a aluminum plate.
I’m also thinking how I’m going to build the X-axis. I think it is best that I make a metal frame with the guide rails mounted to it. Here is a drawing of what the frame is going to look like:

CNC drill/mill machine V2 – Mechanical Part – Update
Today me and my dad made a part of the X-axis construction from steel square pipe.
Better pictures will follow when I get the bearings ready.
I made some drawings of a table where the cnc will be on.
